福建科學(xué)技術(shù)出版社，成立于1979年11月，是一家年出書約500種的中等規(guī)模的出版社，曾獲得“全國良好出版社”“全國圖書版權(quán)輸出先進(jìn)出版單位”“服務(wù)農(nóng)村服務(wù)基層先進(jìn)單位”等榮譽(yù)稱號，2018年被總局批準(zhǔn)確立為第二批專業(yè)數(shù)字內(nèi)容資源知識服務(wù)模式試點(diǎn)單位。具有圖書、電子出版物、網(wǎng)絡(luò)出版資質(zhì)，下設(shè)農(nóng)業(yè)編輯室、健康編輯室、中醫(yī)藥編輯室、第一綜合編輯室、第二綜合編輯室、第三綜合編輯室6個(gè)編輯部門，主要出版理工醫(yī)農(nóng)等各類應(yīng)用技術(shù)讀物、科普知識讀物及學(xué)術(shù)專著，并在中醫(yī)中藥、大眾健康、園藝寵物、室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)、少兒科普等門類上形成特色與規(guī)模。建社40多年來，已出版圖書、電子出版物12000多種，有600余種圖書在國家級、省部級圖書評獎(jiǎng)中獲得殊榮，并先后承擔(dān)近30項(xiàng)國家級重大出版項(xiàng)目的實(shí)施。

       福建科學(xué)技術(shù)出版社通過版權(quán)輸出、實(shí)物輸出、出版合作等形式積極發(fā)展對外文化交流，先后與50多家境外出版機(jī)構(gòu)建立了良好的合作關(guān)系，多年來共輸出版權(quán)80多種，引進(jìn)版權(quán)300多種，共有900多種（套）、30多萬冊圖書銷往海外市場，有近10種圖書以英文版形式直銷歐美市場。

      Founded in November, 1979, Fujian Science and Technology Publishing House (FSTPH) is a medium-sized comprehensive press, publishing some 500 titles of books annually about agriculture technology, traditional Chinese & Western medicine, electronics & electrical engineering, architectural ornament, public health protection, and comprehensive popular science in the forms of applied technical readings, references, academic monographs and popular science readings. Since its establishment of 40 years, the FSTPH is generally accepted that it has formed distinctive characteristics in the traditional Chinese medicine, public health, pet & gardening and architectural ornament.
